Produced via a continuous extrusion process, NOMATEC® XLPa foams offer consistent quality and customizable properties.

Formulation flexibility

Formulations can be adjusted to achieve specified material characteristics, including colour, softness, flame-retardant properties, friction characteristics and mechanical properties, according to defined application requirements.

Colour options

NOMATEC® XLPa foams are available in a range of colours based on customer requirements. Special colour specifications may be subject to minimum order quantities.

Density range

NOMATEC® XLPa foams are available in densities ranging from approximately 25 kg/m³ to 250 kg/m³. The selected density influences material characteristics such as hardness, stiffness and mechanical properties, enabling the material to be tailored to different application requirements.

Special foam grades

NOMATEC® cross-linked polyethylene foams are available in specialised grades designed with specific formulation characteristics.

Available variants include:

M and ME grades – formulated to provide defined levels of softness and resilience.
FR grades – formulated with flame-retardant additives.
HF grades – formulated to provide increased surface friction.
XOMER® grades – open-cell polyethylene foam.
