ALL CAPABILITIES CAPABILITY

lamination

NOMATEC® cross-linked polyethylene foams can be laminated and combined with various materials, such as felt, vinyl, polyurethane (PU), textiles, membranes, and polyethylene (PE) films. This process improves surface characteristics and optimises overall structural properties.

WHAT LAMINATION BRINGS TO THE MATERIAL

Capability Steps
01

Enhanced durability

Improved resistance to wear, impact
and environmental conditions.

02

Optimised surface properties

allows specific textures, finishes or
functional coatings to be applied.

03

Improved mechanical strength

strengthens the overall structure,
making it more resilient and stable.

04

Custom functionality

enables integration with materials such as felt, vinyl or membranes for specialised applications.

05

Better insulation

can enhance thermal and acoustic
insulation properties.

06

Aesthetic appeal

provides a clean, professional finish
suited to various industries.

LAMINATION
PROCESSES

We offer a variety of lamination processes carefully
designed to suit different materials and applications
Hot air lamination

Hot air lamination

Heated air is used to activate the adhesive layers, creating a strong and reliable bond. This process is ideal for manufacturing textiles, non-woven materials, and flexible packaging.

  • Supports up to 8 lamination layers
  • Maximum nominal thickness: 100 mm
  • Maximum nominal width: 2100 mm
Block lamination

Block lamination

Block lamination involves stacking and bonding multiple layers to create thicker, reinforced structures that are more durable and thermally resistant. This process is used in the production of construction materials, composite panels and insulation products.

  • Maximum height:  1000 mm
Flame lamination

Flame lamination

An open flame is used to melt and soften the surfaces of materials, enabling them to bond when pressed together. This method creates strong adhesion without the need for additional adhesives, making it ideal for durable and flexible applications. It is widely used in the automotive, furniture and packaging industries.

  • Supports up to 2 lamination layers
  • Maximum nominal width: 2100 mm
  • Lamination of surface materials (felt, vinyl, etc) to PE- foam
  • Surface embossing
